MAC & Associates proudly represents AmeriPlanUSA®, the 13+ year old Premier Provider Access Organization.   We address a specific health market niche: Dental Care, Vision Care, Prescription Drugs & Chiropractic Care.   In August 2004, we launched our Medical Care Plan.

AmeriPlan® is a privately held national corporation headquartered in Plano, TX and established in 1992, though we've been around since 1989.   Our rapid growth can be attributed to "word-of-mouth" advertising from over a million members, independent business owners and insurance agents.   AmeriPlan® is a member of the following organizations:

Great Benefits! How Can the Price Be So Low?

We keep administrative costs to a minimum. There is no paperwork or collections; no monthly statement to be printed and mailed since payment is all done electronically.   (Invoicing is done only for those who pay their membership fees annually in advance, or employers who have at least 5 employees signed up.)   We are basically like "Sam's Club" and "Costco" with the membership buying power of large groups of people, or members. You go in and get whatever you need/want, we don't police what that is, and on the way out, you pay wholesale instead of retail prices, at the time of service. Our members get quality name-brand goods and Services at discounted prices.
We are similar to "Sam's Club" or "Costco" for essential benefits.

Is This Insurance?

No.
The AmeriPlan® Dental Plan is a discount fee for service plan, or dental referral organization, offering individual and family memberships in its discount dental plan.   We are the Premier Provider Access Organization in the US.   Unlike insurance, with AmeriPlan® you have instant savings, no waiting period, no paperwork, no age limits, and all ongoing dental/medical problems are accepted.   We do not reimburse our care providers.

Members save from 25% to 80% on preventative work (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.) and 25% to 65% on restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.)  Specialist's fees are discounted 25%.

Do I Get Membership Cards?

Yes.
In 10-14 days, you will receive a membership packet that contains your cards, Provider Directory for your state (the internet listing is the most current), and a Fee Schedule so you know what to expect when you go to the dentist, etc.

How Quickly Can I Use the Benefits?

If you sign up online, you can begin using the Dental and Chiropractic benefits immediately.   The other benefits can be used as soon as your membership cards arrive.   You can fax in the application, as well, which is the second quickest way to use your benefits!   If you sign up by mail, just allow for delivery time both ways.   All options are available on the site, even at the bottom of this page.

What if I Move or I'm Traveling?

We are a National Plan - the U.S.!   Just call the 800 number on the back of your membership card and ask for a participating Dentist, Vision Care Provider, Pharmacy or Chiropractor that is closest to where you are. (No Dental benefits available in Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Vermont.   Dental fees will vary from state to state.)

Do I Have To Use "Your" Dentists?

Yes. All of our Providers are carefully screened. They are all licensed professionals with the credentials and experience necessary to provide quality health care to their patients. AmeriPlanUSA® has established an exemplary track record of quality health care. Over one million people using our Plan applaud the quality of our health care Providers.

If you would like to see your dentist in our directory, they can request information about becoming an AmeriPlanUSA® Provider. Let us know and we'll mail one to you. We understand that finding the right dentist is important to you, which is why AmeriPlanUSA® has taken great care in selecting our providers. You may change dentists (or any care Provider) as often as you like, without any penalty, extra cost, or even notifying us. We know of members who tried several providers before finding one that met their expectations. With the growing number of care providers in our network, we're certain you will find one just right for you.

Who Is Included On the Family Plan?

Anyone who permanently resides at your address, whether or not they are related to you. There is no limit on the number of people per household.

What if I Decide This Is Not What I Wanted?

THERE IS A 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. “If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of becoming a member, you may cancel your membership in writing by mail to 5700 Democracy Drive, Plano, Texas 75024, fax to (469) 229-4595 or email to stop@stopmembership.com. Your membership fee will be refunded. Please be aware that the one-time administrative fee and money paid for healthcare services and products are not refundable. After 30 days membership fees are not-refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time upon written request to AmeriPlan®.”

Is There a Group Plan For My Employer Or Organization?

Yes. If a company or group has 5 or more participating members, we can even WAIVE the $20 registration fee per membership. Also if the employer desires, this can be setup on a Cafeteria 125 pre-tax health benefit.   Please go to Business & Group Benefits for more information, including the forms to download.

I Sell Insurance. Can I Offer This To My Clients?

Yes. Many insurance agents have found that this plan offers better benefits at a better cost than a lot of plans they are currently offering.
